I would say Tamamo is an equivalent of Merlin for Arts teams. Not as broken but good enough.
We really just need good all-around quick-oriented buffer.

Overcharge boosting would be cool as the secondary effect on a skill. As the primary effect, it's a bit underwhelming.

Its not though? +2 OC is powerful effect. Problem is its one of 2 things Edison good for (second one being his 2nd skill).
More importantly, WFD (aside from being the most fabulous NP in the game), is complete shit from gameplay perspective.
Edison would be totally viable if WFD was some sort of heavy debuff NP (like Waver or Asterios NP) instead of pathetic 15k damage at np level 5

Technically, it is. NP and skill seal plus Crit Rate Down. Problem here? How effective it is. Against someone like Hijikata, it sure is very effective since it prevents buff-spamming and a turn of NP cast. Ideal case scenario, however, doesn't actually make it usable since you're going to prioritize using it on the turn the enemy can use their NP.


I propose for WFD to be upgraded. It'll include Atk Down as well and the duration of the NP seal is extended to 2 turns. Well, maybe not the seal part but definitely need the Attack Down part. Makes him really good against high damage and crit damage dealers and provides the team with much needed breathing room to survive attacks.



EDIT: In regards to OC, +2 isn't all that great except for specific targets. +5% Def Down or Star Generation is pretty crap. That said, there are also some really great targets like Illya or Kin-Rider, both whom benefits extremely well from OC. Speaking of Edison's OC, does it stack with Kiara CE? I can't remember if this was tested.

Thinking about it, is there a Servant with an Arts NP that also has an overcharge worth a damn? Off the top of my head, Ryougi? Shuten and Kuro both have pretty garbage OC bonuses.

Oh those are pretty alright. Merlin also seems like a great choice (fuck this Servant). Tamamo's is also pretty alright.

Having a hard time finding a variety of offensive ones that're really good though.
