True, but having one offensive caster to deal with annoying assassins is pretty damn important in my book. Let the rest of the caster focus on support, I'll keep my magical girl nuke and be happy.

And with the amount of buffs she can get (tie her with Merlin and a Black Grail, for instance) and tell me her NP doesn't hurt.

I know what you meant to say, but remember that Class Modifier is independent of the Attack Up/Down portion of the damage formula.

berserkers also have a lower bonus against assassins (1.5x compared to 2x)

Don't Berserkers usually end up outdamaging Casters against Assassins due to higher Class Modifier + Mad Enhancement + (usually) Higher Attack

Caster class * triangle: 0.9 * 2 = 1.8x

Berserker class * triangle: 1.1 * 1.5 = 1.65x

Then Berserkers generally have 2k or so more Attack than Casters of the same rarity, so yeah.

ilya does more by herself, NP only
but only really because of her NP upgrade compared to the lack-of-upgrades for relevant ST berserkers
if you throw merlins in and consider CEs though i think berserkers do better
same if you consider BP brave chains

but ilya's cuter than them all and reminds me of rorona so it doesnt matter

Buster > Heal > Invul, imo. You need the buster buff first, then the heal is nice, and invul works even at 1 (and the NP gain is crappy anyway).

Most Berserkers have issues generating NP, and most of them really don't like random enemy crits (especially notable against Assassins, who have a 31% crit rate IIRC).

That said, a strong critzerker with Merlin support likely outdamages both Illya and Sanzang on the basis of Buster crits generally outclassing Buster NPs at NP1. Not sure which critzerkers qualify as strong ones without doing a bunch of math, though.

Illya buff is nice. Finally. I need to level up Sanzang's third skill to see how fast Illya can recharge her NP with 78% of NP Gain up.

I'm going to use a team with Nero, Illya and Sanzang the next time there's a quest with lots of Assassins.

As for Illya the attack debuff means nothing unless you're a Xuanzang player spoiled by Casters whose normal cards actually accomplish something.

The defense debuff on the other hand is lethal, since all enemies invariably focus and crit her the moment it hits.

Atwiki's values are out and I sort of expected as much. Illya's Buster Up portion of the NP only affects her if you do a 200% overcharge or higher.
