I almost did that back when I rolled him, but now I don't want to waste all the exp. Can't say his eventual duplicates will have the same luck tho.

The only reason why I considered picking it was looking at the huge amount of exp you need as you level up. But sooner or later we'll reach that point anyways so I agree that it's not worth the rare prism.
