Not that Kuro really needs one, but I'll take it anyway. Illya definitely needs the help though.

Kinda bummed the gacha came now, but I'll probably still buy a few packs and see if I can get her NP level a little higher. I'm sure she'll come back again when I've saved up a bit for her.

Also according to reddit, Illya's NP buff is for the base damage, the buster buff, and now also increases her NP gen and star gen for 3 turns.

Kuro's is weird though. Increases buff success rate of allied Illyas? Which I assume is for her guts/debuff ignore.

With an NP damage boost and an increase to the buster buff beforehand, she better.

This interlude pretty much solidifies Illya's purpose as a extreme NP nuke. Give her a Black Grail (and pair her with some NP chargers, though in my experience they're not actually mandatory) and she can probably fill the purpose very well now.

I hope the NP gen would be decent to cycle back into another NP ASAP. I assume both NP gen and Star gen are about 10~30% because that's the standard value but higher is definitely better.

I was close on my guess. Came a little earlier, and was for Prisma Illya rather than Extella, but mostly on the mark. DW is getting too predictable, I guess.

They couldn't just let it increase everyone's buff rates, could they? Couldn't just let her be a perfect IP partner. Had to maintain Ozy's unique status while also refusing to give him another solo rate-up.

All of her skills were good before. As far as I'm aware this is not a case of subtraction by addition, so logically it can only be made better. Good + more != rubbish.

I mean, you want to overcharge her anyway for the extra buster damage (since her's scales more than other card boost NPs), but I have the feeling the NP and star gain will be static regardless of overcharge. Though I'd love to be wrong.

Kuro's skill update is entirely for lore teams, which are not uncommon among fans. The skill was good enough to never require a upgrade, so it makes sense to put something that's just for flavor there.

It was never for Kuro's sake, she's already plenty good.

EDIT: Though, TBH, I don't know what kind of buff she'd need if she gets an actual one. Maybe just damage boost for her NP?

Just finished the quest and yes, it's static because I'm not seeing the overcharge tag beside it.

The only buff she "needs" is a buff to her Quick cards so they don't generate like 4% total NP even in an AQQ chain.

Limited myself to 500 quartz this time, no Illya copies (5 4* servants and that's it). Guess NP2 is good enough for now.

I was hoping for either an upgrade of Chloe's Projection Magic so it gives an even bigger boost or a boost to her NP with additional damage or new effects, but oh well. Not like she needed upgrades, she's pretty good as she is right now.
