All late June/July has confirmed is how badly the beginning of the year was bungled. They're now rushing out content without regard for player satisfaction since they have to be on schedule for anniversary and summer.
Maybe if they hadn't completely dragged their feet early on in the year we could have had a more reasonable run which didn't include a 2 week rerun of a fairly involved event right on the back of another event.
Yeah i also have zero motivation to do this event and no interest in the gacha as well. Man i really hope the new summer event will be better.

Alright, cleared the shop of everything I cared about with no apples spent.
It's actually easier to clear events like this than I thought; I don't recall the last time I've hardcore appled for an event.
The pacing was horrible, either too many events close to each other with similar format, or too much empty space in between content. Also too much time passed after the release of Lostbelt 3 which didn't help at all for those that wanted the plot to continue.
This event was light, which is a refreshing thing honestly. I suppose to compensate for the fact that we get Summer rerun immediately after.

1st January - 15th January: New Year Event
23rd January - 6th February: Prisma Rerun
6th February - 20th February: Valentine
20th February - 11th March: CCC Rerun
11th March - 19 March: White day
27th March - 10th April: Ōoku
12th April - 26th April: GudaGuda 3 Rerun
27th April - 11th May: Lady Reines Case Files
15th May - 29th May: Meiho-sou
15th June: Lostbelt 4
The dragging was the first half of June.

But that's 3 reruns and White Day and Meiho-sou do not count
If those reruns don't count then the Summer 3 rerun does not count either, so they are not rushing content even now.
White day was a short event, but it had farming nodes and a shop and 3 currencies.
Meiho-sou was the second half of May, so it just goes in my "they only dragged in last half of May - first half of June" position.

Reruns are there to pad content but they still count regardless. Overall, it's just a rush. As evidenced by Ygg's timestamp for the events. New Year to Prisma rerun was fine. Then Prisma down to White Day was just event after event after event with no break. After that, slightly more than a week's break before we're hit with yet another set of Quad events. In a row. This time, with less than a week's break and it being usually just one or two days.

Which is the reason why I stopped doing reruns, because if not the game will burn me out.

Personally, I believe that the loss of the lores, mats and golden Fous is worse than skipping an event just because of the fear of burnout. Then again, I'm not playing the game 6 hrs straight twice a day everyday so I'm technically fine.

I don't need that many lores myself, as I only level up the Servants I truly like (and to ease farming, but I don't use that many options myself). I have 30 so far and after I'm done with Arjuna Alter's second skill I won't have any other Servant that I truly want to raise until god knows when. Golden Fous are a joke frankly. Mats is probably what can hurt the most if you want a specific one, but that alone is not enough to encourage me from doing a rerun.
Frankly the only rerun I imagine doing again is, apart from this event, the Apocrypha one because of how simple it is and how rewarding it is.
Have you tried grinding MMO's with other people? Sharing pain and laughter over voicechat? That extends the playability of content exponentially.
Have you tried helping newbies grind and guiding them through the process? Seeing and watching how they figure out the ins and outs of their class/job and progress? I have helped people and have been guided through the game. Honestly, I'll take fourteen hours in MMO doing random shit over an hour in FGO/GBF/AL/GF/whatever else mobage there is.
I'm also grinding Atlantica Online atm, it's a really old Korean MMO that I've been playing for the past 12 years. The grind is really ridiculous especially at my level, but I still grind a lot and do events/daily activities since I have 3 friends and my younger brother playing with me.
Meanwhile I literally can't talk about FGO with anyone except for a few I met here or reddit/discord.
Meiho was the most obvious dragging.
Case Files rerun for Barbatos 3.0
Was occupied with other stuff so I'm glad the event was straightforward enough that I could just sic event bonus berserkers and Kagetora on the next icon that popped out. Rider Mordred as reliable for simplifying farming as always.
