Agartha was a cakewalk, Shinjuku only had Lobo as a significant challenge
EOR3 felt like forcing me to bring out full whale team half the bossfights and you are not allowed to supportride either. Its a significant difficulty jump.

People still pulled it off with bond teams tho.

I'll give Shimosa credit for making me use non bond teams on bosses when I was basically able to get by in Shinjuku and Agartha without them, but that felt more like because of obnoxious design rather than the bosses themselves being hard. Both forced Musashi and no cavalry together made it feel pretty restrictive. Raikou/Shuten felt like the only fight that was actually difficult by itself and even then I'd have had a flawless victory if I knew Shuten charmed your whole team right before her NP.

30 Quartz got me Elegant Bastard and shitty 4* healing CE with green haired whatshername. I guess my run of luck ended with getting Artoria & Musashi.
