I've been playing FFXIV for three years now going on four (and other MMO before that), solo and with a variety of guilds, but that never makes the grind less boring. Sure, there's some content that's so absolutely mindnumbing you NEED some distraction to avoid falling asleep (hello, PotD and A1S light farming), but at the end of the day you still spend hours of your life repeating the same steps, over and over and over until you hit a number. This should not be what an RPG is about.

616 stakes over 2 years isn't a particularly hard grind. Keep in mind that I could've done this much faster if I didn't keep wasting AP/appled.

And there's still a certain mad dog whose skills require 144 stakes.

So I have beaten that Challenge quest with Support Kenshin with CE Damage Boost (Not LB) and all my OP supports cause I want to get it over with.

They're kind of a Valkyrie/Parvati sort of deal where Lancelot is better for Waves 1 and 2 but Dantes has better burst damage for Wave 3. However, that really only holds up if they're the same NP level. Lancelot being NP5 means he'll outdamage NP2 Dantes unless you're dealing with Sky attribute enemies, Berserkers, Foreigners, or Rulers.

Keep in mind that, even if they have comparable damage, Dantes is better in terms of refund since he's not reliant on 2004 to do most of his potential 3 turn farm setups.

Oh, then, in that case, Lancelot is pretty much the best in terms of refund from a single NP if he's only doing Wave 2 and 3.
