I grinded enough red gems to meet Fran and Holmes's needs, but golden gems just refuse to appear. Oh well, I suppose if I grind 291 red gems, I might just get enough golden gems for Fran.

I'm also in need of plumes and assassin gold gems. And I'm pretty sure it's still better than map farming from the big picture perspective.

I don't think these nodes even drop gold gems. I have every drop from Nobu's node and its just saber blue, rider red, no golds.

They do. I've gotten both zerker gems and archer gems from boss mobs. GOLD ONES.

But my point was having scarabs drop together with plumes is better than farming the singularity map.

What if Plot twist, it's not Da Vinci, but actually Takeuchi's servant Da Vinci who rigged the race for the Saber faces because Takeuchi and when he wins he turns all of our Servants into Saber face forever and ever.

Can you check with the item drop feature? It seems to me from the layout that Raikou's node doesn't drop any gold gems, but it would be nice to farm up some archer ones if they do.

Nero team can drop gold zerker gem in round 3
Fran team can drop gold saber gem in round 3
Elena team can drop gold assassin gem in round 3.
The rest of the nodes don't drop gold gems in round 3.

Round 2 all nodes drop gold gems.
Round 1 no nodes drop gold gems.

I guess that means only the mixed drop nodes drop gold gems.

This shop is pretty terrible so without using any apples I've still gotten about half of what I care about.

It's far better to just farm the nodes, the drops are quite good. I myself have gotten enough CEs to LB it two times, and every time I do a node I get a skill gem or a material (plus an extra EXP so I can level up Rin).

Btw, after looking at the map, this race will clearly not be finished even after I wake up. There's way too much distance between Raikou and the rest of the team, and I'm sure players are still doing Raikou's node because it's easier to farm wheels from that one.
