I saw a winning team of Mashu, Raikou and Merlin, and I thought that somehow I will manage.

Also, tfw def ignore on NP is useless on your Da Vinci, but NPC Da Vinci with it is a monster.

Think what fucked me up the most is the taunting sphinx while Da Vinci spamming NP charge to infinity.

I think you should try and drain Da Vinci's NP charge before bringing Sphinx in or let her fire her NP when Sphinx comes in. Either way, today's challenge quest is all about manipulating the NP gauges properly.

BB/Jeanne/Tamamo worked pretty well. Finished with almost full HP (tbf once Da Vinci is all that remains it's trivial)
BB and Jeanne's stuns kept Da Vinci controlled, and BB/Tamamo's NP helped Jeanne be ready to fire NP along with Da Vinci, so it was mostly about controlling the mobs

I would agree with that, but then Da Vinci boosts the NP charge of that enemy by two, and that enemy puts his clock buff again, which means that next turn it will have full charge most likely and you have to hit it to reduce it, which will make you have a really bad debuff on your Servant that may screw your chances of victory.

Frankly, Da Vinci constantly filling NP gauge all the time is what makes this fight so frustrating. If it wasn't for the fact that NP attacks are instant kill due to damage, then perhaps. I just don't get it, they give you the ability to decrease NP charge by attacking, but then make Da Vinci not only offset that negative extremely easy and at random times but also make enemies punish you for attacking. And then Da Vinci puts her Invincibility Break, and her first bar is low on purpose so if you try to focus fire on her you will easily get punished eventually.

If this fight was about sacrificing someone to get hit by the debuff or plan accordingly so the debuff happens to someone that can take it, while Da Vinci provides support to the enemy party that isn't NP charge (or at least not only that), then it would have been a fun fight due to having to plan who will have which role in this fight. Maybe not as challenging, but still provide enough so you think and prepare how you want the fight to go with your Servants.

I dunno. I have the right Servants to play the puzzle with Da Vinci-chan, so I'm not that confused.

She rarely double bar boost anyone but herself. She does, however, party boost for one bar and that's annoying.

The most annoying part for me though was trying to manage my Invul, Jeanne's NP, Waver's NP and stun when Da Vinci goes to critical HP without breaking her since the random Invul Pierce buff is annoying as it can be.

Kintoki died after being switched in for amakusa and doing his job of taking care of the sphinx and the riders, then managed to hold out with mashu until i could bbring amakusa back in for the last 3 mooks and da vinci.

I don't want to ever do that again.

Both the Challenge Quest in a few hours and the one after that are being postponed due to (presumably) bugs.

The one tomorrow opens at 11 AM Japan Time.
The one after that has no set schedule as of now.

6 quartz as compensation.

This was the most annoying quest ever by far. Rng crits, np charges, skill spamming for days.
