McJon, if you currently don't have 5* Jeanne Alter and were told that she is only available through an event shop and you were one whole story arc apart, would you still get tickets as opposed to racing through to the end of the story by spamming quartz and having a higher stat-ed Servant? Would you really take tickets and be alright with not getting even a copy of her and have to wait for an unknown time before the event comes back? Can you maintain your sanity as you see everyone else throws her up in Support to brag that they have her and you don't? Do you truly love Jeanne Alter?

Fous are kinda expensive to me atm since I want to buy the Mona Lisa someday. So I can't really buy them every month. That said, I still have 110 of each fous lingering in my box.

Something
I'd buy the tickets and just use Trubo's Kintoki every fight, just like my real life way I beat the game.
The EXP in the shop isn't worth it in 95% of cases. Just run an AP bar worth of 40AP. You can't farm Fous.
Not like you have to start on an event the day it begins to participate.
As for the mana prism shop... if someone's powering through the story, they probably don't have many mana prisms or spare exp to use in the first place. It doesn't REALLY matter.
Event doesn't even start for another like... 44 hours. And that's not even getting into the whole "not needing to start the day it begins" thing.

I agree. However, it's going to take quite a bit of time for someone with a weak party to clear through Camelot and Babylon. I don't see someone who isn't even cleared with Camelot (or close to it) finishing the main story to unlock the event before the event is over.

Remember when they were 30 mana prisms each? If it wasn't for that, I'd have gotten LB Mona Lisa the first time around.
Reminder that we are so not getting a proper copy of BB-chan until May 6th or so.
It shouldn't take him two weeks to clear the event, even if he is new (he's not trying to clear the shop, after all).
So I'd say he has just over a week left to get through the story and still have enough time to rush the event and get BB. Should be enough time.
He has around 200 quartz, of course he can clear both if he keeps reviving through the harder fights.

Swift☆chan's SupportsShiki Complete(ish)
Stop thinking about joining the event on Day 1. Think about expanding the time remaining when he joins the event instead. The event ends on the 17th. That means that there's 18 more days left. Therefore, he just need to make it by the 10th to at least be able to get BB-chan and possibly some of her ribbons, if not all. Given that the shop CEs are only for drop coins for mats that aren't related to BB-chan, hejust needs to equip enough event non-gatcha 5* CEs to accelerate his farming for the Sakura Tickets.
EDIT: I just realised that the event system is running on a mission board-style for the Tickets. That means that he does need gatcha CEs and the 5* event CE but not the 4* event shop CE. We can just power through and create an optimal farming route for him.

Sigh.
It's KnK system which means griiiiiind, not farming. Like killing 500 enemies of one type. Or getting 2k of each currency. That means rolling in the goddamn gacha.
Please, stop with Four-san propaganda, he's loved enough.
Well, there's only one currency so that's a plus. Also, currency farming is an on-the-way thing, as always. All we need to do is help him get to the point where he can clear it much easily by learning and laying out the best farm routes to ensure easier Sakura Ticket collection.
