I spent a few so I could unlock the farming spots I wanted: Hilo (Gold+Page), Ka'awa (Silver+Ink), and Kukaniloko (Bronze+Hat). Also to get rid of the notices on places I don't want to farm at.
Ink I'm running +320% Points, which could be boosted to 350% if I get another CE drop and swap Robin for Mashu. Everywhere else I'm running with +290%, though I'll probably add more points as I get closer to clearing out the shop for bronze and gold currency stuff.

No, it really sucks to read that and glance at my Shirou stash and think it may not be enough, even after all that time.

Thanks. Tried jumping back to that time but guess I went a bit too far back. Looks to be a good stock of points to get, with 150k or more not being that difficult to hit.
The team costs are the worst part about Summer
I broke and made two ten rolls for Swimsuit Jeanne. No Jeanne, but did get NP2 Nitocris and another Hollow Magic; now I just need one more to MLB a second copy.
Well, at least the long event means we can take our own sweet time to finish it.
Now I remember why Summer 2018 was one of my most despised events in FGO.

So, is there any difference between the farming spots beyond the point/mat pair? Do they all drop the same amount of points?
The amount of points differs, so go do the later nodes.
Personally after experiencing it once you just realize never to waste money on the gacha and interest in the game starts to wane or become a whale. I chose the former after the KingProtea gacha. Now everything I've failed to role causes less regret after. Which is good cause I've rolled nothing notable this year no mater how many times I try the gacha. Still going for her again with the guarantied gacha for the anniversary but at least this time it will be over quick.

While the final 3 regular spots have better point drops, it's only on the order of something like 2k or 3k more base. Considering the raids give a base of 48k assuming you can fully deplete the boss' HP every time, you only need 850k or so points outside of the raids, less if you are running something like I am with +320% for each raid fight.
Frankly I'd pick where to farm based more on what mat drops you can get more than anything. As I've mentioned a couple of times now, I'm focusing on Hilo (Saber gold gems, hearts, snake jewels, plumes), Kuakniloko (Berserker gold gems, claws, gears, plumes), and Ka'awa (Archer gold gems, wine, seeds, plumes) since all but 1 of those mats are things I can use.
That said, the final 3 spots do have good mat drop options to consider: Mauna Kea (Berserker gold gems, boar crystal, golem crystal, plumes), Mauna Loa (Saber gold gems, roots, plumes, chains), Volcano (Lancer gold gems, scales, plumes, fangs)
