Beast version still took double damage from Rider/Caster/Assassin. Could have sworn that the 1M HP one, despite its passive that negated Rider/Berserker 2.0/1.5 modifiers was still taking 1.5 modifier from Alter Ego.

Cause it only targeted Rider and Berserker? I mean, it's only logical that way, right? It's like how Semiramis and Summer Nero's anti-class triangle buff works differently. If I remember right.
