Jeanne's buffs are too weak to have her alone support 2 Assassins in case Matthew died. And since Gugalanna was insistent on dispelling buffs on her, she only survived until the half of the second bar.
Well this challenge quest was much easier then the first one. The only thing that was bad were those continuous AoE crits. Those thing take out health fast.
Except for KH, he just doesn't give a fuck.
Though i guess it didn't help that i still went support merlin so i could do more damage quickly for the short time he can live.

Fucking hell, does Mashu have some hidden value that makes all challenge bosses want to target her? It's a miracle she didn't die in this quest, but I need more than two hands to count the number of times she reached 3-digit health.
Despite the giant ATM machine out of nowhere, Lighting Mecha Bull of Heaven had an awesome entrance. But then it led to one of the most underwhelming Event boss yet gameplay & visual wise. Haven't tried the new challenge quest though...
Ah well, we got lots of nice race photos and Nobu won in my game, so yay~ Shenanigans of course happened when she came back.

The challenge quest for the Venus orbs on the other hand was pretty easy for a change, and the only challenge was Yan Qing since there are two classes. Lobocop and Gorgon are dispatched by BB (grailing her to 90 next month) and Ekindu is a meh. No mooks= good civilization.
You probably want to take a NP2 or higher Jeanne if you're going that route for Gugu fight
I hope I get my own Jeanne someday, I've been using her in all challenge quests since her NP was properly done and it's the only reason I've been able to clear those quests without losing.
Aozaki's method works, though I do not have a friend that puts up a Lbed fragments on Jeanne.
Escape result battle has crashed 9 times for me so far. Have not managed to actually make contact with an enemy yet.

There, finally beat challenge quest. Mashu died three turns before the end. No command seals used because I wasted them earlier.
Googy really hates Mashu. Took like 60 turns because I had to stall like crazy to keep her alive.
It's obvious that challenge bosses attack specific Servants far more often than others. Mashu seems to be a favorite if I put Jeanne and Chloe alongside them. And we know how much Saber Alter loved to attack Casters in her memorial quest.

It's a good choice to bring a buff removal Servant like Jack, else the boss will be constantly critting every turn (except if you're really lucky) after using that skill that absorbs your stars.

I brought Jack. Her heal was really helpful. If I didn't have her I probably would have done a brute force strategy and done a command seal revival in a few days when they had all respawned.
I just took too much damage from his crits whenever jack's skill was down I don't know what else to say about this fight other than fuck doing it again
Well, you have a new thing to complain if they do a questionnaire. Make the challenge quests be AP free so you can try as many times as you can, or at least be 1 AP.
