The only things I kept in my memories from that event are Hawawa, Eresh being amazing for clearing some challenges and fuck the tree-forest-water gimmick.

Which is more than the other two, as I only remember the Arash fight and the goddamn King Hassan fight in the second Nero fest and the Heracles fight and the goddamn last challenge in the first Nero fest.

I didn't enjoy getting one-shotted by summer Nobu's Busters nor crit to death by tiger woman. Though it felt good finally finishing that challenge with Eresh.

That was why you had to plan around this stuff. Mechanics were actually fun compared to KH challenge.

While the cheapest option is potentially 72 AP, think most people would rather hope for mat drops, so the more expensive one I posted some pages ago can be more attractive.

• 3x E Pluribus Unum - Montgomery = 3x Luck A+ or greater, 3x Divine, possible source of white (pieces) and rocks (class gems). 54 AP
• 3x E Pluribus Unum - Charlotte = 3x Roman, possible source of white (pieces) and rocks (class gems). 60 AP
• 3x Camelot - Sovereign Castle = 3x Castle, 3x Brynhild Beloved, possible source of white (pieces) and rocks (class gems). 63 AP

Total AP = 177 AP

That said, I didn't finish off the rocks part until later since gems weren't dropping, but it wasn't that big a deal since the plumes+seeds spot I'm farming can drop them.

Weather Meta was hell and Taiga was cancer but it was interesting in a way that FGO rarely is. Ecchan Quest was the best of Gilfest though.

As for the Gilfest prequels, I remember Medb's because I was left with only Shiki and Matthew against those two Caster druids, King Hassan's because Cu died at least 50 times for my sake like a true champ, Gil's because Amakusa facetanked Enuma Elish, Arash's because that's the first time I built a team specifically for 100% Defense Up, and the fucking bugged-ass final quest of doom that I didn't get to beat unnerfed because I wasted my Command Seals like a chump REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Oh, speaking of the Nobu (Berserker), Jeanne (Archer), and Jaguar Man fight: did anyone test to see if changing the stage's element or whatever would enable certain skills like Gawain's or Martha (Ruler)'s to proc their additional effects?

My problem with the Element challenge was not the mechanics. It was the fact that at any point all my plan would go to hell because of lolcrit, which was even worse there because Taiga and Nobu had crit chance up skills. God knows how many times I had to retry before I got a round in which crits happened less.

There clearly is something wrong with the challenge if every turn it passes I'm praying that a crit doesn't happen. And guess what terrible quest in the previous fest made me do the same.
