Also i believe that Kama manifesting as little Sakura is symbolizing how girls are usually subjected to sexualization at a very young age and it could be interesting to see how Kama is written with that in mind (fingers crossed for incredibly spiteful and malicious Kama)

I thought that was just because he knows Parvati, lost his original body and found Sakura's body similar.

Though for the rest that makes sense, even if I'm not awfully fond of that brand of story telling.

I feel like the Case Files collab will be in July (after Summer 2018 rerun), leading up to the anniversary, which will lead up to Summer 2019.

I'm thinking the same, not only the anime is supposed to came out then, but on vol. 9 afterwords Sanda promised to released the last volume around the same time. Having the event then would help to make promotion to everything Case Files together

I think little Sakura is also the one people associate with the worm pit the most and is Sakura at her most miserable so it fits to represent the abuse angle.
