And then Doyle turned the basic idea of supergenius detective into a story and people loved it. Or some shit. It's easy to write Sherlock into the Nasuverse.

They already have that exact situation in the story itself with Watson publicizing Sherlock's adventures. Now you just have Doyle doing it as a self-insert.
