Challenge Quest sure is annoying when she uses NP seal 3 turns in a row on your damage dealer. Guess I'll try just bruteforcing with Astolfo to kill the books and that first HP bar with Kintoki (Rider) and Ryouma in the back.
I use the plugsuit, stunning Purple first and have Arash clear the books. Skadi 1 buff Kintoki and Skadi 2 also do the same after being sub in. With some luck, you can clear the quest in 3 turns flat.
Unless she revives them the immediate next turn. Finished it, but this didn't help my impression of being the worst event to do in some time.
I dunno. You stun her before clearing the books, and everything works like a charm after that.
Any gimmicks to worry about from the challenge quest (like full NP gauge or invincibility break)?
Unless you fail the stun, which seems like what Astolfo's level 10 90% stun did.
30k book grants a ridiculous (~80%) Special Defense Up on Murasaki while it's alive, and charges Murasaki's NP bar by 3 + charms all your female frontline Servants when killed. 14k book grants Murasaki a 15k HP heal/turn while it's alive, and gives Murasaki Invincible Pierce and some damage buff (don't remember if Attack Up or Power Up) each for 1 turn when killed.
Combine that with Murasaki's normal skills, and you can expect her to spam her NP often against you since she likes to revive the books often.
Fastest way to kill her is to kill the 30k HP book before trying to NP nuke, but that means either using an AoE NP same turn or single target NP the following turn, and my experience is that Murasaki loves to NP seal your damage dealer if you give her the chance.
Stalling team is bad idea since the buffs made Purple very tanky. Best is to kill her fast.
So basically, kill all books first asap with AoE, then deal with Murasaki after that. Yeah, Arash seems like the best choice for this, specially if they only have that much health.
My suggestion is use the plugsuit and stun Purple when you clear the books with Arash. Also, note that breaking her will cause her to charm your female characters, so use a male main attacker, and buff him if you are using Skadi.
The 14k book is the one resummoning 30k book, while 14k is raised by Murasaki. I've learned this the hard way.

Challenge Quest is easy if you do it quickly, Drake/Rider Kintoki/Skadi slaughters it in two turns, even with the Polar uniform.
Also does Murasaki only rez the books after NPing? That's what it seemed like on my first try when I misspent a buff and quit out after it looked like it'd take too long.
Someone on reddit posted a quick kill strat for the challenge quest, though it requires premium stuff to work (Mainly a Waver and Helena at minimum, as well as a 2030 and a Victor from the Moon) and some RNG with crits and card distribution. Had to make some modifications to it to reduce the RNG chances a bit (mainly in the "hopefully Bunyan goes down so that your next support can come in" part). But once it got rolling, it worked like a charm:

The charm, from what I read, is not from Murasaki being broken, but from one of the books dying (the one further back). In my runs, Ibaraki never got charmed after breaking her.
