Besides, last year was about the same, having almost nothing to do after Christmas, but since we have rolled many new servants during New Year, we need more mats, so it is easy to get irritated by the lack of events.

Last year we got London chapter a few days before New Year's, which was a whole lot more than "almost nothing". Then the first event of the year was a new one rather than a rerun, although granted Saber Wars wasn't terribly interesting by event standards.

They're probably trying to get people to start playing now that the first main story's finished and give them some time to get up to par for valentines
