Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is a very high probability that most of the people reading the translation have been auto-spoiled concerning the identity of most of the servants-mainly with the wiki.
Plus honestly, Chiron is almost only known to have taught Achilles (aaaaaand Jason, but "Jason the most reknown Greek hero"?..I don't think so...)...I know Type-moon is known to sometimes use uncommon heroes, but one couldn't have missed on this one.
Though now that I think of it, Jason as a rider would have made much more sense than Achilles. But perhaps there were too much Jason haters because of Medea being so popular.
Also concerning the story, I don't think scolding a arrogant hero is a very good idea to stay safe. Or maybe it's another tactic to make him mad and make him do more mistakes. But it's adangerous game with Achilles...

Does he have both? Or are swords spears now (Oh yeah, and IIRC his weapon is specifically a short spear, so lance is probably a mistranslations)

Nice update. As you said, small, but juicy.
So Archer of Red's NP is a type that does area-damage. Nice for a "war", but I hope for her it can be adapted into a more heavy damage on single target type, otherwise she might struggle in a 1v1 or in any battle that only involves servants.

by the way, so far as i have observed, Achilles received description of character the most aside from Mordred and semiramis in the Red Faction. I feel like he's getting more and more screen time as time goes on.
He's the kind of character who's probably going to be one of the biggest obstacles in Shirou's path. And the fact that he's among the strongest Servants ever only makes it even more ominous.
yeah it was stated numerous time that he was the only one who can match Karna. i feel a foreshadowing.
