I don't want to get too off topic, but to sum it up, I started translating in high school when I found a Japanese game spinoff of an anime I really liked, and I translated it using online translators and dictionaries for several years until I eventually picked up enough of the language that I didn't need to heavily rely on those anymore. Honestly, it took a long time before I got good enough to move on to light novels, and even then my translations were pretty rough for a good while. By my reckoning, I only became a decent translator around the time that I started Volume 2 of F/A.

When you say less than a half, you mean half of the chapter right?Because I tried to begin volume 4 and I coudln't understand a bit of what was happening, if I were to consider that the story took place half a page after what Canon last translated...

I meant less than half of the volume is left, in terms of total number of pages that he's done and that he still has to do. (Right now Canon is in the middle of doing chapter 3 and after that there's Chapter 4 before the end of the volume, so it's natural that the events of volume 4 are far ahead.)

On one hand, recently, EDreamer has indicated CanonRap is still working on it. On the other hand, CanonRap has not posted any progress on Volume 2 since Part 3 Chapter 8 in December last year.

Unless CanonRap clarifies the situation, no one really knows. Thus far, to my understanding, no clear indication has been made.

Please do not pester CanonRap about it, unlike George RR Martin, it isn't a paycheck. Translations are something someone does voluntarily for the community.

Are the canonrap's translations for the Volume's 3 prologue and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd chapter completed? Because I don't see the word "[complete]" next to them like with Volume 1. Also, is the chapter 4 the last chapter in Volume 3?
