Summer break boredom has been getting to me, so I've been cooking and baking a lot lately, and today's easy recipe was for vanilla truffles. Melt white chocolate, butter and water in a pan while stirring for about fifteen minutes, remove from the heat, stir through vanilla essence and seeds from a vanilla bean, pour into a tin and refrigerate. Pretty damn delicious too, I know I'll be making these again.
It's been a while since I ate a salted pork from a pig not slaughtered in some factory. Food tastes better if you murder it yourself.
At home, can cook now. Made the Chinese chicken curry for a Thanksgiving Asian party.
It's super yellow because of the lighting. It's supposed to be slightly less yellow.

Me and my mother are cooking usually with weird combinations.
Sometimes we don't know what we're doing, but in the end it taste delicious.
It's cold outside, and I just spent the last hour and a half clearing snow from my (200m long) driveway, which varied between a 30-50cm deep. Yep, it snowed a lot last night.
So, I'm making soup to warm myself up. Split pea soup.
