    My feeling is that there seems to be some kind of "DA = anti-history" thing they're pushing. So when humanity is strong, vampires are weak and vice versa.

    Though this is partly inference. It was actually blanked out in the novel, something like "if Heroic Spirits glorify human history, then Dead Apostles XXXXXX it." But we can infer from some of the other recent statements like the separation of Fate and Tsukihime, DA immunity to Noble Phantasms under certain circumstances, etc.

    Going by Nasu's timelines, if ever he even paid attention to it, I'd say that none of those are official.

    Kara no Kyoukai's timeline is supposed to be April, 1994, but then ufotable moved it up to 1995 to avoid anyone being minor.

    Mirai Nikki's LN timeline of Merca's adventures with Shiki's daughter Mana is supposed to take place in the year 2008, but ufotable moved it 2 years, making it 2010.

    And going by Fate's new timeline, what is supposed to be 2004 in VN timeline is ufotable saying "yeah, let's move it at notches up".
    Not dealing with it...
