After several minutes of drifting in and out of consciousness, I'm finally able to open my eyes to the world once again. When I do, the burning landscape is no more and the vision of flames is nothing but a distant memory. In its place... the sight of Fuyuki at night- calm and tranquil. The sky is clear, the moon is high, and a gentle wind brushes across the landscape. Being the dead of night, there is no one here to enjoy this brisk weather but myself.

"So it was that dream again..." Taking the cold air into my lungs, I purge sleep from my body, "I must have nodded off. That was careless of me..."

Though I guess it can't be helped.

In light of events to come, I've had very little time for rest of sleep. Between juggling school and these nightly activities, sleep has been the last thing on my mind. In fact, I'm actually surprised it took me this long to succumb to fatigue.

"..."

Regardless, now's not the time to be thinking about useless things. I can think about the past later and my body feels rested enough now that it shouldn't hinder me in any way. So, shoving all other thoughts to the side, I set my eyes on my objective and focus on the present.

A western style mansion enters the center of my vision. As far as I've been able to figure out, it once served as the home to a prestigious family of landowners... but that all changed when the former head of the family died in an accident. Since then, the family name has fallen from glory. With a great deal of their shares and wealth dissipating over time, all that was left was this house. A mansion for one person. My classmate, Tohsaka Rin. A magus.

"Looks like she's still awake..." Taking a moment to check my watch, I can't help but feel unnerved by the fact that it reads 01:37, "So it doesn't seem like she'll be going to bed any time soon. That could be a problem..."

If it were simply a matter of sneaking in and doing what it is that I need to do, it would be no problem. However, because Tohsaka has failed to fall asleep as I had hoped, this throws a massive wrench in my plans in the worst way possible. At this rate... I'm going to be forced to confront her directly. And that would be less than foolish. Because... even if I somehow manage to break in undetected, the simple fact of the matter is that a mere human cannot stand up to a mage in a struggle. That being said, I'm running out of options...

"If she's up this late... Then she probably plans on summoning tonight..."

Only two entries remain and one cannot be found. So, with the deadline drawing near, as the only chosen master not to have called a Servant, Tohsaka Rin is likely my last shot at a Command Seal.

Would miiiiiiiiiiiiiighty suck if we didn't at least look both ways and ended up, I dunno, getting hit by a random ass truck or something. Or maybe causing a god-awful racket via screeching brakes?
