Shame Future Gospel isn't there, but of the options I choose Oblivion Recorder (the book more than the film) with Remaining sense of pain as a close second.

Can't be anything other than Paradox Spiral for me; Tomoe is my favourite character, and his subplot is a gutpunch every time.
(That said, I love both parts of A Study in Murder, not least because dat title)

Knk was one of those animes that I had no idea what it was going to be like after first movie. I thought it was all going to be about hunting ghosts and stuff.
Yea tbh I thought it was gonna be something along those lines too. I thought it was gonna be a supernatural anime.

Paradox Spiral is the best "movie" out of the bunch.
Outside of that, really like the feeling of Future Gospel, which i thought was a much better attempt at a lighthearted movie than Oblivion Recorder. Then Murder Study 1 and Remaining Sense of Pain tied
I didn't enjoy future gospel tbh. Oblivion recorder was there to break some tension after the 7th movie. I wish the last 2 weren't originally made to be extra stories.
I have a hard time picking between 5 and 7 (guess I'm the only one who likes 7 that much...), but 5 has more than enough votes already, so I'm voting 7. To me it's probably 7=5>3>1=2>4>MF>Epilogue>6 (6 is the only one I don't like very much)...I think...If I completely disregard plot, feels (either romantic and/or sad), and other things though, I have to say that I really like the mysterious, creepy atmosphere in 1 and 4, and the excellent music really helps there. I prefer to watch the movies in chronological order these days, but I have to admit that 1 really does work well as an introduction to the series.

Yeah the atmosphere in 1 and 4 was the best. I loved that music used in the previews for the first 5 films.
