    Well, it the War itself doesn't have to strictly follow one of the routes. Sure, it'd be easier, but you could always come up with another scenario, where Shirou ends up unable to confide in anyone else.

    Well, it doesn't have to be a confession. It could just be "chance" meetings they have, where Ayako notices small but concerning changes in Shirou's behavior, but won't let him alone about it, hence the meetings. Or something.

    I'm a bit burned out on Fate characters to be thinking of a full route. And I'd probably be thinking a homunculus route before Ayako or someone else anyway.

    You can actually really blame IRUN for this one. He and a couple other people on the UBW thread were talking about this very scenario that made me go, okay, fine, now my brain won't shut up about it.
    You can't see me but I'm cheering right now.

    I mean, damn. [UBW] 4 is already kind of getting infamous for Einzbutt, but the Ayako scene was where it was at for me.

    Anyways I'm not really into lemons, but might as well follow this as I already read it, it's goodAs expected of something Arashi wrote. It will also be interesting to see it's possible interactions with the tv series, if let's say Shirou visits Ayako [in this] after Rider drains her blood. and it's more Ayako.
