It sometimes reads as "If you make Frodo a Jedi you have to give Sauron the Death Star." I wonder which is the original.

Spoiler:
I know what the quote is in reference to, I'm saying the example makes no sense.
Ragnarok, come day of wrath
That fallen souls might bear our plea.
To hasten the Divine's return.
O piteous Wanderer.
+1 Fate/Knight
Despite my initial misgivings, this is a very enjoyable fic. I wish I had read it earlier.
I'm guilty of not doing this... at least. I think. Mechanized Magus was a pet project that got bloated fast. Same with Zero Night.
Still, I still pride myself with the former, and I'm trying to fix the latter. Though, I still very much have pride with both, since if I don't, no one else will.
Anyway. I'm giving a +1 to Path of the King. It has a good batman-esque (the early 90's batman and not the hyper paranoid creep he is now) Shirou. The story is believable, and the writing is decent. The only problem I have with it is Satsuki... though I guess that's just me wanting Shiki having to be the one to save her.
+1 Medium Rare, by Bloble
A Natalia-centric fic, about her, Kerry (when he was a kid), and an OC Enforcer pursuing a Sealing Designate in Australia. Rife with lovely Bloble-flavored dialogue and narration, and it's a pretty fun premise as well.
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
I was going to wait to see how the story played out, but fuck it, it's Bloble so I already know it's going to be good.
+1 to Medium Rare
+0to Medium Rare. I like it so far, and am curious to see where it goes, butthat's also exactly why I can't +1 it so soon. You never know what might happen down the road. Though, in the back of my throat, I have a feeling that be it raw or well-done, Bloble will certainly make it an savourable journey.
Hopefully I used the neutral rating somewhat correctly.

Come visit Mobius Space whereand post Type-Moon stuffquite rarelytranslators gather
Medium well is the only way.
I'll throw a +1 in as well. I was only tepidly interested in the first chapter, but didn't feel like reading on because I figured it was just going to be OCs. And it does have OCs, but they are evocative and capture the imagination easily, and you also get plenty of young Kiritsugu, which made it an easy read. Not to mention more Clock Tower politics worldbuilding.
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
It's not like you can't take back the +1 later if you end up not liking it.

I'm aware of that. Ah, whatever, let's do it.
+1 to Medium Rare (see above).

My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.

"But do not misunderstand. The superhero you are being is no more than a cleaner. Know that the only people you can save like that are the ones that survive." - Archer
