Honestly, the first time I saw Saber Eats Lancer, I thought it'd be a lemon of some sort.
Imagine my disappointment.

After the fight with Caster, instead of things going downhill all the servants go celebrate in a bar. In which Saber is mean drunk, Gilgamesh is still an asshole, and Diarmuid fails to live up to Irish stereotypes. Good for a quick laugh. Quite a bit of typos though.

+1 Ale to the King
Funny stuff.
I agree with this, another +1 from me to Waiting for One's Arrival. It's a rather simple story about Illya andHarryTetsu, told from Dumbledore PoV, but somehow it works, thanks in part to Dumbledore not knowing anything about them and treating them as he would with other children, instead of how he would behave with Harry. In other words, instead of just shruging everything because it's Harry and of course it's just another trial, while he still treats them in a grandfatherly fashion, for him they are more usually than not a headache. Also, the cultural shock between magi and wizards is very much present, with Hogwarts' staff being horrified by some of the things that the "children" let slip, like Shirou gutting a certain priest with Rin's Azoth, among other things.
And the last sentence of the story is gold, that's for sure! It proves that, at least in this story, Dumbledore is anything but dumb! I agree with his judgement on that one!

Huh... didn't know what to think of Waiting for One's Arrival until I read the rec for it, then I decided to read it.
Personally, I'm glad I did. Waiting for One's Arrival gets a +1 from me.

For those that don't necessarily care if my fics aren't all Type-Moon related.
Hmm... this is a bit of a surprise these days.
An archive of my works on the forum that's pretty accurate.
Note that I don't wish to be seen as an idiot any longer. I can't always promise better works than before, but I can sure as hell try, alright?

Objectively not funny, has no redeeming qualities

Are you guys literally giving a +1 to a fic where Harry is given a Japanese name for no reason?
It can't be that good.
It was okay. Not terrible, not amazing. The only real interesting thing about it was seeing Dumbledore's perspective on Nasuverse magi and their ruthlessness, but other than that, it kinda treaded on Nasuverse curbstomps Universe X territory, where the Nasuverse side kinda solves everything.
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
Quite honestly, the best Jap name I saw for Harry on FFN was Hari. Uncreative, sure, but definitely better than Tsukiko *shudders*
"Harry" and "Japanese" and all I can think of is School Rumble.
Localizationing stuff
why does harry even need a japanese name
