we moved to a three strikes system, but in fairness, everyone is going to get their three strikes. Most people got a clean sheet, but those who were on cooldown from a ban were lowered to public warning level. people who previously recieved bans but already are off cooldown have a completely clean sheet.
tbh I don't think this is going to change that much if the shitposting isn't targeted more harshly than before.

The shitposting epidemic is a forum culture thing, not something you can solve on the mod level.
If somebody memeposts it's not technically a crime, like, what are you going to do, give somebody an infraction because they broke character or what.
What this can solve is that public warnings were basically bunny kisses before. At least I hope so.
