Where I still want to travel to is:
North-Italy.
Sweden.
Spain. (Maybe when it's not in the season of tourism.)
Portugal. (Same as Spain.)

I've only been within the United States and Canada (on both the Atlantic and Pacific sides) though I hope that I'll get to do some traveling off-continent soon. And given that scientists often travel to attend conferences, that seems fairly plausible if I stick with the field.

If you ever decide to go to the Philippines, here's some advice: get the fuck out of Metro Manila (that means the entire neighborhood of cities, not just Manila) immediately. It's too much of a clusterfuck over there, and the traffic is literally one of the worst. And besides, most of the things people like about the Philippines are in the provinces.
IIRC from skype conversations, Vagrant skipped out on the Philippines, as least for now.
I never left my country, so it would be nice if someone visits me.
I'm going after Thailand. I expect to spend most of my time at the beaches learning how to scuba dive properly. When I am in Manila I'll be with my art girlfriend so she'll take me to art parties where I can get really drunk for free, so it's not that bad.

If you go to Koh Yao Noi go to Lam Sai and take at least one day of Muay Thai lessons. It's a blast.
No idea. Friends who've been to Russia have said you need an invitation to get a visa, which basically translates to "book a guided tour". I figure I'll book a 3 day tour, get allocated the 14 day visa (since that one is the minimum) and figure out what i can cover in 11 days.
Muay Thai sounds fun, but I'm unfit aside from endurance legs. Still worth giving a shot though.
Classes are 9-1030 and 1600-1730 IIRC. You won't die, and you can just tell one of the instructors if you can't go on, but it's fun as shit.
