I'm guessing from the chant that it's the astrological component that makes up their magic. A better view of the stars, especially in clear skies, is best experienced on a high place, therefore, mountains.

They're related through the Fibonacci sequence.

The golden ratio is the limit to which the ratio between consecutive elements of the Fibonacci sequence converge.

And you get the Fibonacci sequence by summing the diagonals of Pascal's triangle.

The second case just began to be published on the magazine as you can see in the photos above, so volume 4 won't be out in a while

She's Keyneth's cousin or something. She's the de jure head of the El Melloi family because she came out in top of the power struggle after his death, but handed the reins (ha) over to Waver while she's still a child, and partly to get him back cuz he's the scapegoat for the mess of the Fourth War.

Least, that's what it is to the best of my recollection.
