Well the VN mentions some that already have wind- and ice spells in them andcan only be uused for those specific spells

That's either them taking spell jewels from prisma. Or she's just using jewel prana to make them.
However since jewels can be used to establish switches, meh. sounds alright.

I kind of want to see how magus mercenary is done differently from what we know of the freelancers. It's clearly some sort of pride thing, longing for the thrill of battle idea, so something of a foxhunt/stupid thrillseeking rich person mentality. There's some potential.
