That he did, minus the actual shredding. Also, the looks of surprise on the few faces we could see really sold it.
Liberation army will become a very quick stepping stone aren't they?

Unfortunately, it seems so, especially with Machia in play in an hour and 20 minutes. Also, long haired IT guy is definitely an arrogant dickbag who will die in a humiliating manner, unlike Curious, who almost won and managed to basically take her opponent out of commission.
Unless Rikiya reveals his uber powerful Quirk that allows him to go toe to toe with Machia.
All in all, this arc seems to be there solely for the development of the LoV, who I honestly do not like that much. I do honestly pity Shigaraki, though.
Same. Shigaraki really suffer, I only can assume he was brainwashed by All for One make him forget his family
I thought this gonna be 3 side war or something

Really, I am just becoming increasingly disappointed that the Liberation Army is just being used as a setup for LoV character development. I never really bought into the LoV hype as a lovable group of psychos with "high" ideals of their own, especially since they still are a disorganized group without any real plan beyond getting rid of what they don't like. The Liberation Army, on the other hand, actuallly is a well-organized group with history in the 'verse who have an ideal they will fight to the end for. I wish the heroes also had a chance to fight them, and that perhaps the LoV will sustain actual casualties from this.
"Unlimited Twice Works: Sad Man's Parade". I think we all know the reference. I wonder who might win, the man of blades or the man of copies? Also, it appears Chikazoku has a huge failure complex, Dabi and Ice Guy are destroying everyone with their attacks, and it is confirmed Dabi cannot withstand his own flames. On some twisted level, I can understand why Endeavor might have been dissatisfied with him, if he is in fact Touya Todoroki.
What the fuck with Fate references....

Don't think so. I think he was just relating his own desire to continue Destro's will to the will of the original Quirk Mother as he sees it. That, and his Quirk is clearly some form of selective gigantism kind of like Kendou's.

In any case, nice "people die when they are killed" reference from Twice there.
Pretty epic overview/trailer theme, and I dig the Overhaul seiyuu, though I imagined someone a bit different, with a more even, less raspy voice. Also, can't wait to see Eri-chan and the Big Three, and I seriously wonder how the pacing of the Hassakai arc will feel animated. I still remember 2 summers ago...

Also am cool with Shinichiro Miki as Nighteye.

yea, as long as he live, he can create another army.
So Re Destro quirk is basically Hulk just not full berserk. But the most interesting is he can choose which part of his body can become Hulk, so it loks like enlargement at first sight like Kendo
Giant showdown begins
