Never read that either I just read the fanfics, so I have a very loose understanding of fate/stay night.
I do understand the mechanics though.
Stumbled upon Tsukihime long ago never came back, and the years later I stumbled upon fate/stay night on fanfiction.com after reading it to the ground, and it turned out to be nostalgic
When I realized it was related to Tsukihime I was really excited, and then crunchyroll advertised the anime a year ago, and I was like this is going to be worth the wait.
