Starting roll is really important. Most people give up because they just dont get anything. For pad it helps to start playing during a godfest.

Yeah, I didn't know about rerolling for gods in PAD until I was pretty well into the game. It's just a time waster so I didn't think it was worth the trouble.
But I did roll a Red Sky Fruit Strawberry Dragon which is finally coming in pretty handy for healing now when bosses can basically 1-2 shot me.
Good luck getting tamadras for that.
nah, you don't need luck for tamas, you just need to get far enough to buy and grind tamadra village.
Good luck that gungho gives free tamadras so you don't have to waste your weekend doing weekend dungeon with a Ganesha hoping someone else will put up a Ganesha or at least a Catwoman but they don't so you just run it with a Ganesha.
The coin struggle is now a reality.
eh, legend weekend still gives decent amount without a coin up lead and decent rank exp. no need to use scrub leaders.
decent as in like 900k. not really a struggle.

Does PAD have not have an Android version or is the GP Store just being an asshole?
As for what I'm playing, does the Yanderella amd Unhinged Alice game from ESC-APE count? :3

PAD is supported on Android 2.3-4.2, iOS 5.0+, and Kindle Fire HD/X.
Thanks a bunch!

Shit, I never should have uninstalled Brave Frontier; I'm never going to get all these Tales of Link collaboration characters before the timer runs out since I'm only strong enough to just barely get through the level one battles and those have an unbelievably shitty drop rate. It took me four hours of grinding just to get Rita, and she's the one I could plow through no problem because I started with Vargas.
Well, I got Rita, Yuri (duh), Cless, and Arche in the end, so that's good. I don't think I even played the games the other two came from so it doesn't sting that much.
Also, after much soul searching I've come to the realization that I just hate hate hate hate puzzle-based RPGs and no matter how much I want to play them just because they're popular I'm never going to enjoy it, so goodbye and good riddance to Puzzle & Dragons and Divine Gate.
Here's my list of IDs by the way, add me I guess:
Brave Frontier: 79271677
Chain Chronicle: 159,255,161
LoveLive! School Idol Festival: 772595600
SAO Code Register: 28353 91984
Tales of Link: 507,833,933
White Cat Project: CFPRVD3PP (Invitation Code)
Mobile games are filled with Stockholm syndrome at first you're like "why am I playing it," and then five months in you're screaming at the gatcha.
Chain Chronicle JP: 194379143
Puzzle and Dragons NA: 374599273
Well, I still don't like puzzles. And I guess I should clarify that all the games I listed are the Japanese versions (and also iPhone if that makes a difference). White Cat Project is pretty cool, it's got a town-builder minigame and plays like an action RPG in missions so it actually manages to feel like a real videogame if you can make yourself forget there's still a gatcha screen lurking there, waiting for your money. If anybody decides to start playing it please enter my code because I think I get something(?) or maybe not, I only played enough to get through the tutorial so far. (The Japanese name is 白猫プロジェクト.)
So PAD made a cameo appearance in Tsukimonogatari, about 5 minutes and 20 seconds in.
Not sure if this is the right thread for this.
PAD was already really popular in Japan as a 3DS game.
I started playing Bravely Archive, the mobage spin-off of Bravely Default. It's actually not bad - combat is pretty traditional turn based JRPG and the premium currency is not that important as the game throws tons of it at you like candy, so starting roll is no big deal. What matters are how high a character can eventually evolve. I mean, it still has all the Japanese F2P hooks but they are not as bad as usual. And it still has the good music from the 3DS game.
It's not really done though, I think some larger events and modes are being implemented.
In other news I have pretty much stopped playing Brave Frontier (game's decent but box size WAY too small, requiring premium currency), that Mahouka thing (hit a steep pay-to-win difficulty wall), and the new Sword Art Online game (same difficulty wall). I'm trying Kai-ri-sei Million Arthur without knowing anything about what it's based on (a Vita game?). Production values are pretty high, not sure if I will stick with it.
