I was reading it up through the military base invasion, but then Manga Stream dropped the project and the only other scanlations I could find were absolute horseshit so I stopped.

Years ago, I translated 5 or 6 chapters for this series because lazy people using Google Translate. Recently started helping out Disciple-Scans with something else about the time they dropped Kenichi. Apparently their plan is to redo HQ versions of all the released volumes, but that's nothing to do with me. I might end up finishing Gaiden if I can make the time.

Utopia's scans are pretty shit across the board. Also it looks like everyone was drawing from the same translator's work, and his/her English sucks (there was someone one Mangahelpers or somewhere back then who had great translations) So yeah.
