For those feeling the tl;dr, the first is an old story about the current US Supreme Court deciding that a black Muslim on death row could be executed despite being denied the right to have his faith leader present in the room for it. This despite the prison system offering a Christian chaplain instead and the state law ensuring the condemned had the right to be ministered by the faith leader of his choice. The conservative justices voted as a block to allow the execution anyway, the liberals against. The grounds for allowing it to proceed being a case of time and security.
The second is the same court making the exact opposite decision in the case of a white Buddhist, with all liberals opposing the execution, and 3 of 5 conservatives joining them.
So... yeah...

My ghost (so good when we're okay with each other <3) is telling me that it's better not to fight for now, and that it might be wiser to use some rather seductive diplomacy dirty tricks, instead of using dirty warfare, like a few of the stray ones have been pledging to happen... But i think that unless the masses learn a bit on how to negociate, using mass strikes coordinated thru mesh networks, for example, we're going to have trouble. Governments will always push as far as they can, and it's a historical fact that the population will soon go soft and swallowing anything given.
Then again, we're already (or would that be 'still'?) slaves and we haven't been complaining a lot... Just a bit, of course.
