Die Lust der Lieder und der Waffen,
die Lust der Liebe schenkt mir ein,

No, but I definitely don't think people should loose their heads over a problem that might not be a problem and that has no solution so to speak
And your point is?
Exactly what my profile says. I might have to ask though, since yours isn't even visible...
No, there isn't... You took what I said at face value without my consent. I don't have to explain everything to you if you're a grown up, that is...
Given what I am lumping myself on and the overall tone of this thread? The post? Unlikely. Everything else? Yes...
TL;DR Brexit is decided, get over it, keep calm and carry on. There's not "we stay in the EU" without things getting out of hand. It's either this... Or another kind of unrest...
The Royal Perogative powers are delegated to the PMWhat are the Royal Perogative powers?
In foreign affairs, it covers
the declaration of war
the making of treaties
the recognition of foreign states
the accreditation of diplomats

So maybe I'm misunderstanding Britain but can't the Queen just go on TV and say you really should stay in the EU and everybody will change their mind and be fine with it? She's, like, Britain's mom, right? You can't argue with your mom.
ELIZABETH THE SECOND BY THE GRACE OF GOD OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND QUEEN HEAD OF THE COMMONHEALTH DEFENDER OF THE FAITH
WHEREAS Our Citizens recently voted on a referendum on membership of the European Union
AND WHERAS The result was a majority in favour of leaving the European Union
WE HEREBY DECLARE with the advice and consent of Our Ministers that the Treaty of Lisbon is null and void.
done
ill email it to the foreign office so they don't have to write it themselves
They do. I am just saying that you can smooth that... If you rescind the vote though, that's a lot of English people and Welsh who will take their places and unlike the Scottish and the Irish, England and Wales is the bulk of the UK...
Though I recon parliament is still out on that one... I wonder what they will do...
Basically, rolling things back won't make anything better... At least not within...
Not when you're acting all condescending and treating me as if I didn't know anything when I know everything...And a bit of civility wouldn't hurt, when you already got warned.
Be treated as you treat me. That's how it works...
Play nice before I have to hand out warnings.

Shadow Cabinet resignations: twenty and counting (Beeb's reporting twenty-three in text, but won't tell me who are the extras). Of thirty-one. What a bloody mess Labour's in. Either Corbyn goes and they've got their third leader in two years, or Corbyn hangs on and the party has to swing even harder left because there's no way he's putting anyone but ironclad loyalists in the Shadow Cabinet after this. Abbott's already in, save us.

Shadow Cabinet sounds like a secretive conspiracy, which I assume it isn't given that such information is freely available. In which case I question such a name.
Maria Eagle, Angela Eagle, and Lord Falconer need to create their own party. Or superhero team.

I agree that shadow cabinet does sound menacing.
Cabinets are very closely linked with their leaders in the UK, partly because those leaders (whether Prime Minister or Leader of the Opposition) are at least theoretically just a first among equals. The Cabinet is a collective and, if you're not able to at least publicly support each of its measures whole-heartedly, you're expected to resign.
So it's partly that our political culture demands Cabinet disagreement is resolved by resignation, partly that it would look very bad if you gave Corbyn your support all the way up until the motion and then backstabbed him, and partly that it's meant to spur on the rest of the party for the vote by demonstrating how weak he is even at the top. Besides, it's not like most of these lot wouldn't be swiftly returned to their positions under a new leader, who would be appropriately grateful for their clearing of the way.

I'm glad there are a lot of reasoned and well thought out arguments presented for both sides.
But as soon as I saw this online my mind was irrevocably swayed.
