but it I wonder what the actual UK is feeling now that the dust is settling. Is it more like a "we got this!" Or more of a "my god what have we done!?" Kinda vibe.

And yeah, I get that different groups have different sentiments, I'm just looking for a hot take

Really does depend on the group. I think most people are divided by Leave/Remain into "At last!" and "Dammit!" There's not a lot which connects us at the moment. (Dis-United Kingdom, Dis-United Kingdom).

A (very small) group of unity has emerged: a number of politicians, Leave or Remain, were genuinely campaigning on ideals and hoping that this could all be settled on that plane. When not grappling with all the rest of the fallout, they are currently in total dismay that their hope has been thwarted and the hounds of racism are running rampant.
