He turned up dead in his cell despite being kept in a more secure section of the prison reserved for high-profile suspects and criminals, and had been placed on (and subsequently been removed from) suicide watch after already being found unconscious and with marks on his neck once.
So. Here we have a guy who hobnobbed with the country's movers and shakers and kept a legion of underage girls for a harem that everyone in his circle seemed to know about but didn't report. He shows up dead a day after documents relating to some of these associates and apparent enablers gets unsealed.
The questions I'm asking are the following:
- How bad are the conspiracy theories actually going to get on this?
- What do you think on the whole scenario?
- Who else do you think those documents implicate?

Depends on who you're asking over here. The rural farmers are getting the worst of it, though the sentiment that it's a little pain now for prosperity later seems common. Business owners on a small scale are hurting too, especially if they deal directly with China. The rest of us aren't feeling it much yet. Yet.

Well, I'm impressed at how protesters decide to hold their protest at the HK airport, blocking people from leaving the place by placing trolleys at the departure gate for second day. Wonder if the authorities there will let them have their way and shut down the flights again.
Sadly, keeping people from leaving has always been one of those big no no things for me. Like seriously, don't get in the way of a traveler. I literally bulldozed my way to the airport past a protest once, but thankfully they saw I was for real and just moved aside.

Sorry, I was asking AsGryffyn which protest allowed him to casually go through once they determined he was "for real" after presumably detaining all the other "not for real" passengers from boarding. Those so call peaceful protesters actually assaulted and cuffed two Chinese men, one who they claimed to be a Chinese police, whom after checking is not even one, just a dude with the same name and one journalist of Global Times who came to Hong Kong at the airport. The former was attacked till unconscious, and these peaceful people refused to let the ambulance carry the guy away, and even tried attacking it.
