That would've had the Pope rushing to Jerusalem "just in case" our time as a civilization was up. Seriously, a Church is one thing, but a Church, a Mosque and (tentatively) a Synagogue burning to hell in bloody Easter? That would have "End Times" written all over it.

Assuming the Pope is well versed in the Scripture (which he probably should be, it's kind of his job and all) he shouldn't be too worried. The signs of the End Times as dictated in the Apocalypse are quite a bit...flashier.

From a practical standpoint, you can ban anyone at any point for as long as you have administrative privileges, since the computer system isn't going to ask for justifications. But "can't, assuming you follow a basic procedure that actually requires just cause before taking action" is wordier and wouldn't make for a good t-shirt.
