You'd think she would have killed her mother first. Let's be clear here, the bitch would have had it coming. That, I could have understood.
Actually, Rina is a [Pioneer of the Stars] so she's meant to bring about great change and advancement in human-development, right? Did that play a part on her... snapping, for a lack of a better term? Because she couldn't make those changes?

“Yet the burden shall be shared by two entwined, from which the sword will part from the body and be bestowed upon the vassal to sacrifice themselves and cleave through space and time.”
“Mark upon this unworthy flesh the emblem of the sacrifice, the vassal whose death shall bring forth victory through the fields of steel and blood!”
“The oath is laid here. We are the ones who represent all the good within the pure lands, and we are the ones who judge what is evil within the pure lands. Thou, Seven Heavens clad in three mere words of unequal power, shall emerge from the spiral of control, O keeper of the balance—!”
Not directly. The fact that her mentality is abnormal may be related to her capacity to act as a Pioneer of the Stars. However, her being a Pioneer of the Stars doesn't inherently guide her toward any particular mode of behavior or fate.
Also, she doesn't kill her mother, because her mother is "someone" to her.
Kiritsugu was given the (unimportant) parts of the Emiya crest that Natalia could requisition from the Clock Tower. During the 5th War, Kiritsugu wasn't cursed by the mud of the Grail, and thus the fraction of the crest that he possessed was intact for at least long enough for him to utilize it in reclaiming Illyasviel from the Einzberns. Ergo, unless something happened to Kiritsugu in the process or thereafter, there's no reason Illyasviel wouldn't be able to inherit Kiritsugu's portion of the crest.
Maiya, however, has a separate and distinct crest that Illyasviel wouldn't be able to inherit.
Was Shirou able to inherit anything from Kiritsugu's, other than his ideal or money I mean.
His Thompson Contender? I'm not sure if it's canon or not, but that gun's a Mystic Code on its own, right? Shoots bullets with more force than a normal one?

With each day, one draws closer to death,
With each day, one expends more of one's life,
With each day, one obtains more memories,
With each day, one gets closer to losing them all.
The Contender fires rifle rounds, and is breech loaded. This is why it has such power with every shot.
I doubt that origin weapons can be used by someone without the origin.
Pulled this off the BL Notes doc. Origin bullets require Kiritsugu's prana to actualize the origin effect.True threat of the pistol doesn't lie with the physical destructive power put into force by explosives and bullets, but custom "mystic bullets" (only twelve remaining). Bone powder extracted from Kiritsugu's own body is sealed in the core of the bullet tip and when fired, charged with Kiritsugu's Prana, it will smash Kiritsugu's magus "origin" ("severing" and "binding") into the target.
Illyasviel likely has Kiritsugu's crest. Hypothetically, if Maiya gave birth to a child, the child would inherit her crest. Shirou gets a share of monetary inheritance, and Kiritsugu's weapon collection -- if he wants it, and it's not presently in use.
On the other hand, Shirou personally has no use for that stuff -- at least at present.
For a pointlessly cruel mystic code, I imagine that if Shirou were to give up a few bones to make Origin bullets, and inherits the Contender, perhaps he could make people's bodies explode into metallic spikes from the inside. Again, however, this would be pointlessly cruel -- with emphasis on 'pointless.'

Yes, he seems perfectly capable of making swords erupt from people's bodies the normal way.
Well that's a scary thought. Shoots a dude then their body either slowly transforms into a mesh of blades (including their brain) or huge swords erupt from their body.....ow that would be very painful and well lethal. Love the story and the info dumps
Dude, like I said in another thread, you shouldn't necro fanfiction threads with months since the last post.
Localizationing stuff
You know now that I think about it how did everyone react to caster summoning a freaking Cthulhu (thing?) and Saber using Excalibur (Nuke on a stick). I mean with Parahumans would everyone just think that the servants were actually insanely strong ones? We know that PRT were involved so just how bad did it get?
