Main char is like a Tatsuya that emotes and uses a sword instead of guns. Has a little sister who is appalled by family's ostracism of main char and calls bro oniisama. Only the main heroine is like what would happen if Emi from Hataraku Maousama were royalty and had boobs.

I just think of him like Tatsuya because they're both supposed nobodies that actually can beat anyone.

Ok I'll put it on the list. I'm running out of trainwrecks anyway with Ange and Aldnoah ending with no new Sunrise anime next season, and im not gonna watch G Reconquista.
It's not really a trainwreck so much as completely unoriginal. But like Mahouka it can be a kind of enjoyable unoriginal.
Also I'm not sure if anything can really match Cross Ange's trainwreck-ness.

G-Reco's not even a trainwreck. It's just kind of dull, which is alleviated by how Bell's a fun guy and the girls are cute.

G-Reco is amazing just because it's a testament to a certain man's lack of improvement in the past 30-40 years.
Trainwreckier things have come and gone, so hopefully something will fill the void.
I mean christ sake the last three years we've had Guilty Crown, Valvrave, Nobunaga the Fool and Aldnoah, I believe that anime will deliver.

Things like Guilty Crown and Aldnoah aren't really trainwrecks to me so much as "set up lofty expectations, fail to meet them spectacularly." Cross Ange just makes me go "wow, nobody knows what the fuck they're doing with this."
I even go with that particularly with Cross Ange since the director's previous thing with Gundam SEED fell into the former, and Cross Ange takes everything wrong with SEED and somehow decides "lets focus on THAT."
