Is a good thing if many anime-only thinks the way you do and enjoy it.
One of my biggest disappointment as an LN reader is if the anime-only (which consist the majority of any anime) thinks the show suck-ass they will drop the show so hard I didn't get more of it or at least the budget become so low that NT adaption is much more worse. And I like the majority of OT cast more but that a different issue.
So I just heard that Ryukishi (author of the Higurashi and Umineko VNs) is writing a dark satire of harem comedies called Harem Royale- When the Game Ends-. Summary and announcement here.

"Devil May Cry Series Joins Castlevania in New Multiverse from Adi Shankar"
I'm gonna need to see a trailer or something before I'm convinced it will be any good.

This is going to be even more anime original than the first seasons ending isn't it? It feels like the election arc is only half done. I hope they don't replace whatever crazy climax the manga devises with a game of snakes and ladders or something.

Artists Celebrate Fire Force Manga's TV Anime Announcement
I like this sort of thing, fellow manga artists drawing characters from a different series.
Spoiler:
More my own realization than actual news, but Sony owns both Funimation and Aniplex? Isn't that like owning both Burger King and McDonald's?
One's a distributor and the others a producer. It's more like a cable channel that has it's own specialty series, but also has things like Big Bang Theory reruns.

So when I learned the day Netflix acquired the rights for Evangelion in the listings I immediately thought "they're gonna re-dub the entire thing aren't they"?
Lo and behold: Netflix is redubbing Evangelion
Honestly, while I don't like this, erm, decision, I'm very curious to see who they'll get to re-dub it.

Speaking of, what comes to my mind is a current anime voice actress who's voice is very similar to Tiffany Grant's Asuka. I wonder if they'll go that route by getting sound-alikes or change up their voices entirely.
I forget her name though.
New dub seems like a waste of money. The original's pretty well respected.

ΕοΕ's dub is one of like... three dubs worth bothering with altogether, but Netflix gotta Netflix.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
Sounds like it's a matter of Netflix not being able to get the rights to the old dub
