Bleach Manga Author is Satisfied with Live-Action Film's Story and Action
Before, I was pretty content with ignoring the movie's existence. But if Tite Kubo likes it, I'll have to watch it now.
Also I had no idea that Midoriya and Ichigo shared the same birthday. It's pretty cool.

Adachi: Since this is a really popular game worldwide, the main thing is that we need to satisfy everyone. Therefore, we need to work as a team, and so we end up playing the game together, as a team. Yes, the whole hundred hours. From this, we have to create a protagonist, since unlike the game, an anime needs a main character to do things for us. So we choose a name, his characteristics, his personality – and even then, the storyline still has to fall into place. Adachi: The people who are in charge of writing the script, including director Ishihama, those are the people who play the game together. This is because they want to incorporate aspects of their experience - for example, that this boss was difficult, that this part was fun – into the anime.

Yes I'm being serious. Bleach ended two years ago with a whimper. My Hero Academia is the hottest property in the West not named Attack on Titan or Dragonball. "Publishing the thing that will sell is great, but where's my thing that won't?" is kind of a strange question.

The last volume isn't even out in English, the novels cover what happened after the main story ends. The latest one Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World has details about the 4 Noble Houses, the Arrancar, the Quincy, and the Fullbringers. Why wouldn't anyone want to read the novels?

The book features a cover and a manga drawn by original manga creator Kōhei Horikoshi. The book also contains a "character description and analysis collection" of characters (including the new characters) who appear in the film, as well as a "secret dialogue" between Horikoshi and One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda.
