The reason is even simpler than that.
PS2 games can rip, so to speak, while the PS Vita not.
So far it is impossible to rip a game of PS Vita, so they record the voices one by one.

Can we get any confirmation from the OP or someone that's helping? Just to be sure this isn't dead, there hasn't been an official update from them in a while. I've been waiting for the translation patch for a few years, and probably wouldn't mind another year or two for this patch. I'd just like to know if it's alive.
It's alive. Gonna take a while.
Right now it's aiming for a synced release with Robert Rodriguez's 100 Years. Or at least it has been. Things have been moving quickly lately, so it might end up 2 or 3 years early.
Well, at least it will come out before HL3. That is fast enough for me

While the sentiment is not wrong, I'm getting the feeling you didn't get the joke.
Probably my mind just looking for excuses that allow me start to play f/ha. Or im just stupid

I hope you can complete this, I borred to wait and how I was readiing its gonna take a long time
I Wish you he best of luck to complete this voiced patch if I could I help but I can't sorry
Btw there are a lot of videos on youtube with esenes with the voices you can do something with that great
good luck
Actually I havent watched the videos because i don't want a Spoiler, but I was searching to hear the voice of avenger
or Caren and bazzet ( here and not in the context of Fate Kaleid XD ) but the quality can be a problem if ou extract from that videos
but, is not sou diferent for recording directly form the game.
There must be a way to rip the Vita file to extract u.u
Nope, not doing it. I'm not going into this again...
The PSVita has been a hard nut to crack for emulation. As of yet there's basically been no breakthroughs and most of the programmers that look for exploits have chosen not to pursue the PSVita because they don't want to affect sales for a currently on the market device or incur the wrath of Sony. That said Sony just released that they are no longer developing in studio games for PSVita, so support for it may discontinue in the near future which would leave no reason for the emulation community to shy away from prying it open.
Just curious, but what is about PS Vita that makes it so hard to rip from?
