I love this show and all the little background details it has. I had to rewatch the scene to catch the fact that the male blood breed got crushed by Klaus right before he sealed the Elder. This show's amazing. It's my personal AOTS tied with another show I shall not name to not derail the thread

When I heard about the ship incident with the Elder Vampire, I can't help but imagine that it was Alucard taking another walk.
The first thing I thought when they mentioned the ship incident was seriously "oh I see Alucard's up to his old hobbies again".
I want a boardgame of this ala World of Darkness
You could probably do it with FATE. Or ICONS, if you were so inclined. As a tabletop developed from the ground up it'd probably have a bit of an Orpheus (Classic World Of Darkness) feel to it. Except with less ghosts, more vampires, and more over the top. Or maybe a more gothic and phantasmagoric Shadowrun without the cyberpunk.
Either way, I'd play it.

White's a ghost, right? And this episode is the first real mention of vampires, rather than just blood magic?
White is a ghost according to her yes. However she was created for the anime unlike the vampires. Apparently all the overarching stuff is anime only, and Femt hasn't reappeared since the first story.
I bought the first 4 manga volumes so I will find out for sure soon enough.
