Well, it was one hell of a party. I have several cuts where me and another guy aparently practiced our knife fighting technique while being completely wasted (I have no memory of this, but the gashes and cuts on both of us back up the story...). Anouther friend of mine punched through a window of my neighbor's house, so it is hard to explain everything that happened that night. On another note, I am still looking for that thumb drive, so once I find it I'll get back to work, back to the basic engine sadly.
Wow, and I thought I went to fucked up homeparties.

Wait, why are you doing this in pure C code? It would seem to me the easiest and prettiest solution for everyone would be to take a pre-existing visual novel for the GBA and create an IPS patch for it with F/SN work.
It'd be quicker and easier for yourself, and probably even of higher quality given that the GBA graphics doesn't look as silly.

The thing is, the guy wanted to do this to port F/SN to the GB as a project for fun from what I remember of it. Besides, wouldn't it be interesting to see how the porting process results?

That was my reason to a T. I have fun coding things here and there and taking the script out has been finished, the main problem, if I can remember, was making the words appear in two lines in a small message box. The choices were working on a rough scroll down list so you could read the entire thing.
UPDATE: I am trying to reprogram this from scratch again. I never found the thumb drive, but onwards I guess. I am making sure to keep my laptop in a steel lock box when I am not using it now. XD
