Rin is an uninteresting and unlikeable character that drains the fun out of most scenes she heavily features in.
Vlad because what happened to him was genuinely horrifying and depressing, and unlike most character that get Bad Ends he legitimately didn't do anything that contributed to it.
Assuming we can also choose when, the user of the first True Magic so I can find out what it is.
I mean I could choose someone who's a lot more fun like Gil or whatever, but if it's only for a day I'd rather learn something.

While reading the manga and later the LP of the VN, he stuck out to me as this incredibly human person who despite killing someone and going insane still values life and loves others. As someone who always finds himself lacking resolve, Shirou's assertion that he'll follow through to the very end, that he'll never look back or regret and that he'll save everyone he can was extraordinary.19. The UBW anime is quite good, and ufotable has done a great job with animating most of its scenes thus far. Fate/Apocrypha is an entertaining and fairly good work, and its ending should only be judged after the entirety of the story is translated. Anime is not inherently shit, and liking things other people call terrible does not immediately make you a terrible person. There is more to Prisma than loli fanservice, and the seeds of the plot have been present since the first season.20. Unpopular opinion.
From the point of the works as stories no. But if the original stories could exist alongside the changed fates, then I'd give Fujino a shot with Mikiya. The girl should get a lucky break for once.21. If you could change the fate of any character, would you? Why?

I don't really feel like I have a favorite. I have ones I most identify with, ones I like the design to, ones I like the power to, ones that make me feel all gooey inside, ones I like the character arc to the most...and they're all different.

Probably EMIYA, for how much he goes out of his way to be a dick over something he doesn't actually even believe in himself. It's like being a forumite and offending ten people over, say, how complex the Hisui true end is, then saying "but actually I've never played Tsukihime."

Tohno's worldview is by far the thing that I get the most. I was also sickly as a teenager. The super assassin and rapey parts, not so much, but yeah, he's probably the closest.

Taiga. I thought she was flat as a character and only there to embody the aging big sis archetype, and it didn't help that Higurashi was on my mind whenever I'd hear her talk in the 2006 anime, but some of the side stuff and glimpses at younger Taiga have warmed me up to her.

While I wouldn't say I dislike her deep down, certain things have brought Saber down for me.
