in this case, since I have a tendency to power level way higher then I need to, the RPS formula actually added little moments of tension to fights I would have otherwise dominated without trouble. If I just flat out guessed wrong repeatedly, which didn't happen a lot, but every once in a blue moon, suddenly bam, the scrappy underdog boss is right in it, and I have to jump back and recollect myself. I rather enjoyed those moments.
so again, while I wouldn't call it great, I honestly did not hate the combat system.

I know I've harped on this in the past, but why is it any worse than the plethora of JRPGs where you just mash attack till the end of battles and occasionally use an item to heal?
At least the RPS kept me interested at times.

I am of the personal belief that the Tsukihime Remake is two years from release. It will remain as such until a release date is announced, at which time its actual release date is 6 months after that date.
