In most VNs, routes can selected based on choices in-game, but after clearing the prologue and starting a new game, I am directly given the options for Marie, Kasumi, Kei, and Rea routes, along with an option that just says new game. I'm going to assume that the new game option is the "trunk", while the individual characters are the "branches". If that's the case, does picking a "branch" cover the information of the "trunk", or should you play the "trunk" first before selecting a "branch"?

Well, to those people who just watched the anime and think that the LDO is the First Order to Nazi Germany's Galactic Empire, I present the Vice Commander of the LDO, who is the Wandering Jew (most antisemitic organizations would not have a Jew in a position of power, wandering or otherwise).

Also, Spinne is a man with spider powers. Spinne means spider in German. Captain America fights Nazis. Spinne was a member of the German Nazi Party back in WWII. Yeah, this is a thing:

Is it? Doesn't episode 0 of the anime show Karl as Reinhard's advisor? About that, when he said to Reinhard, "I can be your Nostradamus", was that purely metaphorical, or was he actually Nostradamus?

Episode 0 was a very bad choice. It skips over the actual VN prologue content and does a rushed adaptation of an Amantes Amentes side story about the LDO's creation that should be read after the first 2 routes. Starting with that is a very bad idea that can only be explained as the staff having the VN fans who paid in the anime's crowdfunding campaing as their target audience, rather than new people.

also the irony of the vice commander being a jew is not lost, not that he counts that much since he's practically every other guy in history or something. for something resembling actual irony, the LDO as a whole is using jew magic for their ahnenerbes.

In my opinion, yes. Imagine that Ufo UBW episode 0 was Archer's flashback spoiling his identity. Does that mean Archer's identity is now not an spoiler for F/SN if a bad adaptation spoiled it right at the start?
